Nice fishery, but unfortunately too many "have you caught owt" I go fishing to fish not conversations

Visited Tuesday 30 April had a great day fish from 5/6lb - 9/10lb quality.🎣 The weather was a bonus. Not my first visit but not been disappointed so far. Fantastic venue.👍

Been today first time me and a friend we both had a great day on ajs Lake carp upto 16lb will definitely be returning owner is a really nice person would definitely recommend this place thankyou for a brilliant day

Had a fantastic day today on AJ's. First time I've ever been to Candy Corner and certainly won't be the last! There are some cracking fish in this pond, huge carp and silvers. It's a nice place, clean and tidy with parking behind most pegs. It's a shame I couldn't get more photos but the brolly was up with lots of rain. Next time!

Great fishing, caught a few nice carp. Fished for 12 hours with a mate. Around 60 fish caught and half of them were good size fighting carp. Owner friendly and brings a nice bacon sandwich to the peg. Overall a great day

Spent the day at candy corner with my pal and we will definitely coming back. The owner is a great guy, the lakes and surroundings are picturesque and well maintained and the toilets are spot on. Every fish caught was well looked after and put up a good fight on the feeders

If you want a good days fishing you can't go wrong with candy corner fishery it's very clean and the surroundings are beautiful. They have all the amenities you need food orders are fetched to your pegs very clean toilets you can buy bait if you need to at very competitively prices. Depending who is on at any given day Jamie or Sarah they are very approachable and will bend over backwards to help you should you need anything. There is the main lake called Oscars another called AJ's and 2 strip ponds over the back the fish are very clean and fighting fit and they get good weights on match days. They are based on root road and also have a website where you can get all the directions to the fishery.
